Erik Spiekermann is information architect, type designer and author. Erik created; FF Meta and ITC Officina, considered to be modern classics of typefaces. He founded MetaDesign in1979 and FontShop in 1988.

Erik Spiekermann is behind the design of well-know brands such as Audi, Bosch, VW, German Railways and Heidelberg Printing.
